WIRELESS FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY TIP:
Wireless Flash outdoors - test the ambient light

Image 4 - Balanced exposure between ambient and flash |
Do the same for any interior shots (the porch in this scene). Fire off test exposures to see where the light is hitting. Work on one flashgun at a time, so that you can build up the light to suit the subject.
Check your exposures. If the flash is too weak or too strong, adjust either the power or the distance of the flash (moving closer makes the flash stronger, further away makes it weaker).
