First, I am going to tell you...

All of our courses follow the debating maxim: "First I am going to tell you what I am going to tell you. Then I am going to tell you. Then I am going to tell you what I just told you."

To help ensure we can do this effectively, each course, along with the Technique Modules they contain, come with an overview and a review.

1 - Modules

We want to help make your learning experience more relaxed and more enjoyable, so all of our courses are set into specific Modules that cover a central theme. Think of these like the chapters in a book.

2 - General Modules

Every course starts and ends with General Modules. These Modules typically include a Getting Started, a Course Overview, and a Course Review Module.

3 - Technique Modules

Each Technique Module covers a specific part of the training and is designed to stand on its own. These will generally include topics like technical camera techniques, creative techniques, appropriate computer techniques, and so on.

Every Technique Module has an overview and a recap, including photographic or computer assignment suggestions to help advance your learning.

Technique Modules may benefit from the Modules before it. Whether you can effectively watch Technique Modules out of sequence will depend on your own experience with the kind of photography covered.

4 - Segments

Each Module has many short Segments, each of which generally corresponds to a particular page in every set of tutorial notes. These Segments concentrate on a specific topic relevant to that Module. Segments are also useful for quick recaps at a later stage, once you have finished the course.
